The unique Brompton folding bike was designed and built in London in 1975 by Andrew Ritchie in his flat in South Kensington opposite the Brompton Oratory. Still made in London today, Brompton is making over 45,000 bikes per year and is the UK’s largest bike manufacturer.
Brompton Hire
Launched in April 2011, Brompton Bike Hire was created to address the clear need for a cycle hire scheme that is accessible to all, economical to use and not confined by boundaries or borders so you can hire and return at any dock nationwide.

To join, simply download the app and register your details (make sure you have your card details and ID handy). Once you're setup, you're free to hire from any of our docks in the UK.
